Aaron Siri On The Daily Wire:
A federal judge in Texas has ordered the FDA to drastically accelerate the release of hundreds of thousands of pages of data on the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. The FDA had proposed releasing the documents at a rate of only 500 pages per month, which would have taken around 75 years to complete. However, Judge Mark Pittman ruled that the FDA must instead release 55,000 pages per month, rejecting the government’s requested slow timeline.
This ruling came in response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request filed by the group Public Health and Medical Professionals for Transparency. They sought expedited release of the data Pfizer submitted to get emergency use authorization for their COVID vaccine. The group’s attorney, Aaron Siri, celebrated the ruling as a “great win for transparency” that removes barriers to independent analysis of the vaccine data.
