The Attorneys at Siri & Glimstad are evaluating claims of people who have been injured in explosions cause by defective Crockpot brand Pressure Cookers.

About the Crockpot Pressure Cooker

The Crockpot brand has built trust over the years with its line of slow cookers. More recently they have attempted to capitalize on the popularity of electric pressure cookers, with less success.  Pressure cookers cook much faster due to airtight lids that lock and allow pressure to build within the pot.  Defective lids mean that as this pressure builds within the unit, some have exploded and caused burn injuries. In 2020, there was even a recall of the Crock Pot 6-Quart Express Crock Multicooker due to the high risk of serious burn injuries as a result of defective lids opening during the cooking process.

Even before that recall, however, law firms have represented clients who were injured due to Crockpot Pressure Cooker defects.

If, as the result of an exploding pressure cooker, you have suffered:
  • First-degree burns, second-degree burns or third-degree burns (severe thermal burns)
  • Doctor visits and/or hospitalization
  • Infections
  • Skin grafts
  • Lost time from work
  • Permanent scarring and/or disfigurement
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
  • Other Injuries
