Edgar Cruz practices in the firm’s data privacy group where he represents consumers in data breach class actions. Before joining Siri & Glimstad, Mr. Cruz represented insurers in defense matters before transitioning to plaintiff-side consumer class action litigation. He draws on his experience on both sides of litigation to advocate effectively for consumers and protect their rights in an increasingly digital environment.

Mr. Cruz earned his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law, where he served as Managing Editor of the International and Comparative Law Review.

He is admitted to practice in Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
