Charles Drake, CISSP, is a cybersecurity and IT compliance professional with over a decade of experience spanning public sector auditing, healthcare compliance, and enterprise consulting. From the outset of his career, Mr. Drake has viewed data privacy not merely as a regulatory requirement but as a fundamental civil liberty. He is deeply committed to defending individuals against overreach—whether by corporations, government entities, or negligent stewards of personal data. His technical work has consistently focused on securing sensitive information, implementing controls that empower users, and challenging systems that treat privacy as an afterthought. For Mr. Drake, the pursuit of data privacy is inseparable from a broader dedication to personal freedom, autonomy, and accountability in the digital era.

Prior to joining Siri & Glimstad, Mr. Drake served as a Senior Internal Auditor at BlueShield of California, where he led external assurance engagements and managed PCI DSS, HIPAA, and SOC 2 compliance. He previously served as an IT Auditor with the Washington State Auditor’s Office, conducting CIS Controls audits and collaborating with penetration testers to strengthen cybersecurity practices across state and local government agencies.

Mr. Drake has completed advanced training in CIS Critical Controls, network security, and penetration testing through the SANS Institute and other leading organizations. He holds a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in management information systems from Western Washington University.

In addition to his technical expertise, Mr. Drake is known for developing effective workflows across legal, technical, and compliance domains. He has authored hundreds of deliverables in support of litigation, audits, and strategic initiatives.
