Prestige Maintenance USA recently disclosed that it suffered a data breach that compromised the sensitive personal data of certain individuals.
What Happened?
On January 17, 2025, Prestige Maintenance USA detected unauthorized access to its systems, later confirmed to be a ransomware attack carried out by the Medusa group. Files containing sensitive information were accessed, affecting approximately 65,452 individuals. Data compromised included names, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, government-issued identification numbers, and financial or medical data.
Notifications were sent to affected individuals beginning in July 2025.
