Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc. is one of the country’s leading firearms manufacturers. They sell a wide range of firearms and have been in business for over 75 years.
In February 2022, Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc.’s computers were hacked in a malware attack. It is believed the hackers obtained customers’ names, financial account numbers, debit and credit card numbers, as well as account passwords and pin numbers.
Obviously, there is a very real risk of financial harm to anyone who has done business with Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc. and provided their financial information.
How do you know if you were affected?
Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc. says that it sent out notification letters to over 150,000 customers it believes were affected by the data breach.
