In August 2022, Marymount Manhattan College reported that it had been hacked in a data breach incident. In November 2021 a hacker gained access to files on the college’s network computers and removed some which contained sensitive information. It is believed the hackers obtained names, social security numbers, driver’s license numbers, financial account information, medical and health insurance information of potentially thousands of individuals!
