Bitcoin Depot, Inc. recently disclosed that it suffered a data breach that compromised the sensitive personal data of certain individuals.

What Happened?

Arbor Associates, LLC, a staffing and workforce solutions company serving the human services sector, discovered a data breach on March 8, 2025. The breach Bitcoin Depot, Inc., one of the largest bitcoin ATM operators in the U.S., discovered a data breach on March 15, 2025. The incident involved unauthorized access by threat actors to certain customer data, potentially including names, contact details, and transaction information. The breach was linked to a ransomware incident that impacted systems used for customer support and transaction processing.

Bitcoin Depot began notifying impacted individuals starting July 1, 2025, and is offering complimentary credit monitoring and identity theft protection services.
